The evolutionary impulse that is happening now is calling us to add more consciousness to our lives.
We are all aware of how much instability there is in the world, and that pushes us to look for a reliable foundation to live from.
All things are in some state of change (and seems to be accelerating), so not much reliability there. And buying our own thinking —or anyone else’s thinking, as true reality, is certainly not reliable.
On the other hand, when we look to our own consciousness, and open to it, we notice; it is here, unmoving, unchanging and clear. By adding more presence in our lives, we can see the flawed, un-reliable workings of the mind and set it aside. The innate intelligence of the field of consciousness proves itself to be much more reliable and that enlightens our mind.
It’s perhaps paradoxical that no-thing is the most reliable, and the closest thing to us — actually closer than close. Consciousness is never separate and is always exactly where we are and is what we are at the core and this is always free and whole.
